World Kids Colouring Day 2019

Our spring colouring competition is back…

Get ready to “Change the World” with your class!

For World Kids Colouring Day 2019, we’re asking UK primary school pupils to pick up a pencil and consider how they’d like to “Change the World” when they grow up.

And the best part? Partaking in the competition will allow your pupils to literally change the world, too — through the work of worldwide children’s charity, Plan International.

For every competition entry we receive, we’ll donate €1 to help Plan International advance a number of school development projects in Rwanda.

You can access the KS1 & KS2 competition sheets when you sign up as a Teachers’ Club member (it’s completely free!), along with a number of additional bonus activities to complete with your students.

Not a member yet? Register here.

Don’t forget to let us know how your class has enjoyed their World Kids Colouring Day lesson by contacting us on Facebook or Twitter

What can I win?

We’ll be choosing two winners, one each from KS1 and KS2, who’ll win:

  • £250 worth of stationery for their school
  • An official winner’s certificate and STAEDTLER goody bag
  • A bespoke art classroom workshop with artist and caricaturist, Picasso Griffiths.

Three runners up will also get the chance to win:

  • £250 worth of stationery for their school
  • STAEDTLER goody bag and certificate

How do I take part?

First, you’ll need to become a Teachers’ Club member. It’s FREE to sign up, and you can do it here.

1. Download your KS1 or KS2 competition entry sheet PDF.

2. Print the competition sheets and give them to your pupils to complete as part of their World Kids Colouring Day lesson. There’s also optional themed bonus sheets to make the lesson even more fun!

3. Collect their competition worksheets – make sure they’ve added their names!

4. Send us the entries before midnight on Sunday 2 June 2019. Don’t forget to send us your teacher’s form (entries will be invalid without one!)
