In late 2015, school pupils across the country were invited to take part in our imaginative Sketching Stars competition by picking up a pencil and creating their own cartoon characters.
The main prize on offer was a chance for pupils to meet Cath Lloyd — an animator who’s worked on much-loved cartoons including Peppa Pig and Little Princess — and watch her bring their characters to life in special animation workshops.

In addition, two competition runners-up will also receive £250 worth of stationery for their school and a special STAEDTLER goody bag.
