World Kids' Colouring Day winner celebrates with class and caricaturist

Top caricaturist 'Picasso' visited Bradshaw Primary in July to hold a workshop with this year’s KS1 World Kids’ Colouring Day winner.

Graham 'Picasso' Griffiths held a fun, interactive workshop with Layla’s class, providing hints and tips on how to draw people’s faces.

During his visit to the Halifax-based school, Picasso also drew some caricatures of Layla — and her teachers!

Layla, who was the Key Stage 1 winner from this year’s colouring day challenge, also received a certificate and a goody bag full of STAEDTLER stationery — plus some fantastic STAEDTLER items to share with her classmates.

Layla's teacher, Mrs Carroll, said: 'A huge thank you to Picasso and Lisa from STAEDTLER UK for the workshop! The children really enjoyed themselves.

'Picasso is extremely talented and made the experience fun and exciting for the whole class. Children who didn't have much confidence in drawing now do!

'We had a superb afternoon and the children are looking forward to using their new colouring goodies!'
