KS2 Happiness Haikus

This creative poetry task helps pupils explore what makes them happy using the simple but powerful Haiku structure (5–7–5 syllables).
Pupils begin with a sensory brainstorming activity. Then they craft their own three-line poems, focusing on moments of joy and appreciation
Great for developing descriptive language, emotional expression, and syllable awareness in a fun, accessible format.
