Colour, create, kick off! World Kids Colouring Day is here.

As part of Term 3 of our Year in the Classroom campaign, World Kids Colouring Day is your chance to bring creativity to life in the classroom – with a touch of Football Fever.

Taking place on 06 May, World Kids Colouring Day celebrates creativity in classrooms everywhere ~ but you can take part at any point during the competition period, making it easy to build into your lessons across the next month.

This year’s theme encourages pupils to be bold, imaginative and expressive by designing a football kit that represents their class – ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Teachers’ Club members can download the KS1 or KS2 resource packs via the links on the right of this page. Not a member yet? No problem, you can join today for FREE! 

Now of course, it wouldn’t be a Teachers’ Club competition without some amazing prizes up for grabs, would it?

You and your class could be in with a chance of winning…

⚽ A personal pack of STAEDTLER whiteboard marker pens for EVERY teacher that enters their class before Friday 15 May (yes, we know you’re running low on marker pens, its edging towards the summer holidays!)

For every entry received, STAEDTLER will donate €1 to children’s charity, Plan International, to help with the implementation of climate and disaster protection and nutrition for the children in the Bokeo region, Laos.  

✅ How to enter…

1. Download the KS1 or KS2 resources 

Both are ready to download in the Members’ Area. Not a Teachers’ Club member yet? Join for free here. 

2. Print & complete the sheets 
   Get creative with your class, whether on World Kids Colouring Day itself (06 May) or any time before the deadline. Pupils can use pens or pencils ~ whatever suits their stage.
3. Submit ALL your entries before midnight on 05 June, 2026.  
   Upload scanned or photographed entries via our online portal 
   or post them to:

PO48, Storage Giant, 376 Newport Rd, Cardiff, CF23 9AE 
(Postal entries must include a completed Teacher’s Slip — or your entries will be discounted) 

You can upload your pupils’ entries as you complete them, or wait to submit them all at the same time at the end of term — as long as you do so before the deadline of 23:59 on 05 June, 2026
