✏️ Theme: How We Feel

January-March 2026

Term Two of Year in the Classroom is here — our biggest-ever Teachers’ Club competition!

The term’s theme — How We Feel — is all about helping pupils reflect on themselves, their classroom community and how they see the world around them at the start of a new year.

Through handwriting, creativity and self-expression, this is your pupils’ chance to capture a snapshot of how school life feels during the spring term.

📥 What to expect in Term Two

At the heart of Term Two is our exclusive collaboration with the London Eye — a short, creative activity that is easy to build into your day, whether as part of a morning warm-up or a quiet Friday afternoon task.

Pupils are invited to design their own London Eye Pod, filling it with the people, places and ideas that matter most to them. The activity encourages reflection, personal expression and pupil voice — helping children show how they see and feel about the world around them.

👉 Download the London Eye resource packs below.

👉 Download your teachers’ slip here — if you’re posting your entries, this is essential!

Plus, throughout the term, we’ll be bringing the How We Feel theme to life on our social channels with mini competitions and creative prompts — so keep an eye out for extra ways to take part and win.

🎁 Prizes up for grabs

  • A personal stationery bundle for one lucky winning pupil – complete with a winners’ certificate from STAEDTLER
  • A HUGE stationery bundle for the winning pupils’ classroom
  • A prize package for the winning pupils’ teacher – including stacks of stationery just for you and a Teachers’ Club tote bag and mug
  • A FREE visit to The London Eye for the whole class to enjoy.
